Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson’s “Wedding” Photos Are Not What You Think

By Prosper Mene

Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson got everyone talking after sharing romantic wedding photos online.

For a moment, fans thought a real wedding invitation was coming. But the photos are not from an actual wedding – they are part of the promotional campaign for Bimbo’s new romantic comedy, My 30th Wedding, now streaming on Bimbo Ademoye TV.

The campaign shows the two actors in both white wedding and traditional looks.

For the white wedding, Bimbo wears a beaded mermaid gown with a sheer illusion bodice and a dramatic ruffled train. She styles it with a low bun, pearl earrings and a bouquet of white calla lilies. Timini complements her in a black tuxedo with velvet lapels, a gold slide brooch instead of a tie, and dark Prada sunglasses.

For the traditional shoot, the pair switch to Edo and Igbo-inspired attire. Bimbo is in a strapless maroon velvet corset gown with sequin detailing, complete with an Okuku coral-beaded crown, coral bib necklace and wrist cuffs. Timini matches the palette in a gold satin tunic under a crimson velvet robe, coral beads, a coral cap and a carved white Akupe hand fan.

The photos are scenes from My 30th Wedding, which follows Aeta, an event planner approaching her 30th birthday, as she navigates a complicated relationship with her client, Leon Wellington, played by Timini.

The film, written and produced by Bimbo Ademoye, explores class differences, love, and the pressure society puts on women around marriage and age.

My 30th Wedding is now streaming on YouTube via Bimbo Ademoye TV.
