If that Season 1 ending of The Covenant left you with questions, you won’t have to wait much longer for answers.
The hit action-thriller is officially returning for Part 2, and it is bigger, bolder, and more dangerous than before. The new chapter will premiere on Netflix across Africa on November 6, 2026, with viewers outside Africa able to watch on Kava TV.

Following its successful run on Netflix, creator and executive producer *Vincent Okonkwo is back with the next chapter of the saga, this time with acclaimed South African filmmaker King Shaft taking over as director.
What To Expect In Part 2
Remember Dagogo? He is getting pulled even deeper into the brutal world of gang conflicts as his family fights desperately to hold on to its empire. Old betrayals, grief, revenge, and a ruthless battle for control — everything that was left hanging in Season 1 is far from over.
With new alliances forming and old loyalties breaking, the family’s empire could crumble from both inside and outside.
The official poster released today confirms the return of Nollywood heavyweights. Sola Sobowale is back as Stella, the formidable matriarch who holds the family together, alongside Gideon Okeke, Zubby Michael, Uzee Usman, Bimbo Manuel, Segun Arinze, Ivie Okujaye, and Tope Olowoniyan.
Joining them this season are top South African actors Vuyo Dabula and Sibusiso Jill, who bring fresh firepower and new characters into an already tense story of family rivalry and underworld politics.
The addition of the South African cast is set to expand the story beyond Lagos, hinting at a cross-border power struggle that will raise the tension.
Produced by VS Media, The Covenant Part 2 promises high-stakes drama, gritty action, and the emotional depth that made the first season a fan favourite.
Mark your calendars — November 6 on Netflix Africa. Dagogo and Stella have unfinished business, and it’s about to get bloody.
