Peller and Jarvis Officially Tie the Knot in Chic Lagos Civil Ceremony

By Prosper Mene

Nigerian TikTok power couple Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, are officially husband and wife.

The duo legalized their union today, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at a civil wedding ceremony in Lagos. The intimate court proceedings set the stage for their grand white wedding, scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2026.

A Love Story Months in the Making

The road to “I do” began in June when Peller traveled to Benin City, Edo State, to formally meet Jarvis’ family and fulfill traditional rites, including the payment of bride price. Wednesday’s civil ceremony marked the next legal milestone, with the upcoming white wedding set to be the final celebration with family, friends, and fans.

Styled by celebrity designer Emmanuel Goodnews Icon, the couple delivered one of the most cohesive civil wedding looks of the year.

Peller cut a sharp figure in a tailored, single-breasted off-white suit with structured shoulders and a classic notch lapel. He paired it with a light blue dress shirt, a patterned teal-and-blue tie secured with a sleek tie bar, and finished the look with dark blue leather dress shoes.

Jarvis complemented him in a Prudential off-white textured tweed mini dress featuring a square neckline and delicate blue floral embroidery. She layered it with a matching cropped bolero jacket and accessorized with white pointed-toe pumps, drop earrings, and a statement white hairpiece placed behind a sleek, low bun. She carried a lush bouquet of baby’s breath, tying the entire aesthetic together.

The matching off-white tones, accented with subtle blues, created a clean, romantic palette that felt both modern and timeless.

Announcing the milestone on social media, the couple kept it simple:

“Officially Mr. & Mrs. Civil wedding done…”

With the legal formalities complete, all eyes are now on August 1 for the couple’s highly anticipated white wedding.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Peller.
