Tems proved once again that blue is her signature shade.
The Nigerian singer headlined Afro Plus Fest 2026 at the Northwest Stadium Complex in Landover, Maryland, over Labor Day weekend and delivered a performance that was just as bold as her outfit.

Stepping onto the main stage, Tems commanded attention in a custom electric blue halter-neck dress styled byDunsin Wright. The fitted bodice featured a cord-fringe bustline, while a low-slung waist belt with oversized silver grommets and studs added an edgy contrast. Lace-up ties at the sides gave the look even more attitude.

The dress flowed into a long, layered fringe skirt that moved with every step, dance move, and turn. Under the stage lights, the fringe caught and swayed, making the electric blue silhouette impossible to miss.
Tems kept the rest of her styling understated so the dress could take center stage. Her long, dark brown curls fell in soft waves past her shoulders. For beauty, she went with dark-lined lips and neutral eyeshadow done by Kayla Perez.
She finished the look with stacked silver and diamond bracelets on both wrists and delicate dangling earrings.

From the striking color to the fringe details and unexpected silver hardware, Tems’ Afro Plus Fest fit was another reminder of why she remains one of the best-dressed performers on stage right now.
Afro Plus Fest 2026 brought together music, culture, and style and Tems’ headline set delivered on all three.
