Wunmi Mosaku Dance Through The Jennifer Hudson Show’s Spirit Tunnel

By Prosper Mene

Wunmi Mosaku has officially had her Spirit Tunnel moment — and she did not just walk through it.

The BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated actress brought all the energy to the famous backstage hallway of  The Jennifer Hudson Show ahead of her appearance on the October 6th episode, where she joined Jennifer Hudson to talk about her upcoming film, The Social Reckoning.

Dressed in a light blue-teal halter-neck midi dress with a matching belt and silver buckle, paired with metallic silver strappy heels, Wunmi kept her look polished with structured braids coiled neatly at the crown.

But once she stepped into the tunnel, it was all dance.

She grooved down the carpet, swayed her hips, snapped her fingers and danced along as the show’s production crew, writers and staff lined both sides of the hallway cheering her on with a custom chant:

Wunmi was clearly loving it — beaming, blowing kisses, throwing her hands up and dancing right back at the crew who were clapping and singing along.

She kept the energy all the way to the stage doors, where she struck a final pose, made a heart with her hands and waved to the audience before heading in.

For those who don’t know, the Spirit Tunnel is The Jennifer Hudson Show’s signature backstage hype ritual, where staff create original songs and dances to welcome guests before they go on air.

And Wunmi definitely gave them a moment to remember.
