The Afro pop stars co-star with Destiny Etiko and Nosa Rex in a music video about love, laughter, and Maldives honeymoon dreams.
What started as a simple pre-wedding photoshoot quickly turned into a full-blown competition.

In the music video for “Ala Bekee”, Yemi Alade and Don Jazzy go head-to-head as rival photographers, bringing love, laughter, and plenty of drama to the screen.
The Song: Love, Marriage, and Maldives Plans
“Ala Bekee” — an Igbo phrase often associated with life abroad — is a romantic anthem about choosing your person, again and again.
Yemi Alade sings about everlasting love, while Don Jazzy adds prayers for prosperity, travel, and joy. The lyrics are playful and aspirational, dreaming of a honeymoon in the Maldives and even hinting at “a bouncing baby after nine months.”
It’s romantic, cheeky, and rooted in the excitement that surrounds Nigerian weddings.
The Video: A Photographer Battle
Nollywood stars Destiny Etiko and Nosa Rex play an engaged couple getting ready for their pre-wedding shoot. Both Yemi and Don Jazzy volunteer to handle it — but the couple raises the stakes: whoever takes the better photos gets the contract for the actual wedding.
From there, it’s chaos.
Yemi and Don Jazzy turn the shoot into a playful war, each trying to outshine the other with elaborate setups, glamorous bridal party looks, and a few not-so-subtle attempts to sabotage their rival.
What should have been straightforward becomes a contest full of behind-the-scenes drama, competitive energy, and plenty of laughs.
The video also embraces its Igbo wedding setting, with traditional attire and cultural details woven throughout. Destiny Etiko and Nosa Rex anchor the story as the couple at the center, while Yemi and Don Jazzy drive the comedy as two determined photographers who refuse to lose.
“Ala Bekee” arrives ahead of Yemi Alade’s seventh studio album, “It’s Yemi Alade”, set to drop on September 11, 2026.
With its mix of romance, humor, and wedding celebration, the video offers a fun first look at the new era the “Johnny” singer is stepping into.
